The discipline involved in children wearing full school uniform helps children develop personal pride as well as pride in their school.

A Uniform Shop selling items of clothing specifically designed for Infant Jesus School students is provided with the school uniform provider.

Uniform is a major investment by parents and it is important that ALL clothing should be clearly marked with the child’s name.

Hair
For health reasons all shoulder length hair needs to be tied back securely. The school colours of blue and white should be used when using ribbon, or other hair ties.

Children’s haircuts need to be conservative and appropriate to uniform expectations. Radical haircuts and colour are not acceptable. (This includes gel/waxed hair, spiked hair and any hair style that would be considered radical).

Jewellery
Children should not wear valuable jewellery to school. Apart from the fact that it can be lost or broken it is a distraction to  themselves and others around them. For safety reasons the only acceptable earrings are studs. Children who wear studs may wear only one in each ear.

Make up
Children should not wear make-up, nail polish, shellac, or acrylic nails with the school uniform.
