WELCOME BACK PICNIC  

The traditional IJ Family Picnic will be held this Friday 9 February, 5:30pm-8:00pm on the school oval. We have food trucks Pasta & Furious and Hey Pesto coming along to serve up some delicious food!

There will be a bouncy castle, obstacle course and face painting to entertain the kids, free icy poles too! Children are welcome to use the play equipment at parents discretion and with parent supervision. We look forward to seeing you there.

P&F MEETING

Our first P&F meeting for 2018 will be held on Tuesday 20 February at 7pm in the school office.  We would love to see as many parents there as possible.  The main agenda items for the meeting will be finalising the executive team, forming of sub committees,  and P&F overview for 2018.

PARENT CLASS REPRESENTATIVES

We hope you were able to listen to the presentation about this role at Tuesday night’s Parent Information evening.  If you are interested in being a Parent Representative this year, please get your nomination forms into the school office by Wednesday 14 February 2018. Nomination forms are available from the school office.

MAD (Mother & Daughter) CAMP 2018.   

If you’ve been thinking about it over the holidays, now is the time to register for MAD Camp 2018.  MAD 2018 promises to be wonderful time spent with your daughters and creating special memories and bonds. This year’s camp theme, will be based around music and the committee is working very hard on organising fun activities.

The camp will be held 6-8 April 2018 at Point Walter Reserve.

Please fill in your Registration Form, pay the deposit via EFT and hand in your form to the office. Deposits need to be paid by 9 February 2018. Any queries please contact Marisa or Sherrie.  Next Meeting: Thursday 15 February, at Varsity’s, Morley.

SCHOOL BANKING

The Commonwealth School Banking Program is under way once again. Thank you to those who continue to support the program.  This year there are awesome and different rewards to be earned.  Once the flyers and information packs arrive they will be distributed.

We are looking for extra volunteers to assist one or two mornings a term.  If you are interested in volunteering half an hour of your time on a Tuesday morning from 8.10 to 8.40am please contact me on 0410151110 or if you have any other queries please do not hesitate to call.

INFANT JESUS SOCCER CLUB

Welcome back to a new school year, and welcome back to a new season of Aldi Miniroos soccer. Registrations are now open for the Infant Jesus Soccer Club in this year’s Football West competition. Miniroos is a great way to introduce children to soccer but more importantly, it provides an opportunity for kids to be active with their school friends.  More details on the Miniroos competition is available at www.miniroos.com.au

Registration must be completed through Football West at www.myfootballclub.com.au.  (Registration and Payment Guide available from the club).

Our Information Day will be held on Sunday 25 February at 10.00am at Emberson Reserve.

Season:  The season starts on the 8 April and runs through to September.

Training commences: Tuesday 13 March 5.00pm – 6:00pm (5’s, 6’s & 7s)

Tuesday 27 February 5.00pm – 6.30pm (8’s and above)

Game Day:  Games will be held around the Perth metro area on a Sunday morning

Home Ground:  Emberson Reserve (Emberson Road, Morley)

What to Bring:  Soccer Boots, Shin Pads and Socks.

Membership Fees:  Membership is $160 per season.

Uniforms: Sizing for uniforms will take place at the Information Day 25 February 2018.
