EVENTS FOR TERM ONE – SAVE THE DATES

Wednesday 21 March: To kick off the start of the Footy Season we are having a “Free Dress Day”.  This won’t be a any Free Dress Day! We are putting a little spin on this event! We all know that Mr Hille is passionate about the West Coast Eagles and Mr Colangelo is passionate about the Dockers.  Well we have decided for them to go to head to head! Students will have the chance to vote for who they would like to see in the opposing teams footy colours.

From Monday 12 to 19 March, each classroom will have two containers, simply pop your free dress gold coin donation into the container of who you would like to see in their opposing teams colours.  This is going to be something even parents won’t want to miss.

On this day students can wear the colour of their favourite sports team and they will also receive an icy pole.

Wednesday 4 April: Uniform Swap Meet Morning.  After the success last year, we are holding this event again.  More information to follow shortly.

Friday 13 April: This is the big one which I’m sure the kids will have a blast at our  “Colour Fun Run“. Information to follow shortly.  Stay tuned!

We will be needing parent volunteers for the “Colour Fun Run” which will be held in the afternoon Friday 13 April.  If you can assist please contact me at president.pafc@gmail.com

SUB COMMITTEES

As you will remember the P&F has four Sub Committees which parents are welcome to join at any time.  They are:

  • Fundraising Committee
  • Social Committee
  • IJ Care
  • Parent Education

Thank you to those who have already offered to be on these Committees, it would be great to see some more parents come on board.  We would love to hear some new ideas and suggestions.  If you wish to assist on any of the above Committees please email Marisa Gulluni at president.pafc@gmail.com

FAMILY CAMP

At this point in time we have NO Family Camp Coordinators.  I’ve heard so many great stories about this camp. It would be a shame for this tradition to end.  If you would be interested in running this camp (it can be a shared role) please get in touch with Marisa Gulluni, at presidentpafc@gmail.com

INFANT JESUS NETBALL CLUB

Netball registrations are now available and will close on Thursday 8 March. Registrations are available online through My Netball WA Website. If your child played netball for our school or another club last year, you will have already received a login and password which you can use to login. If you child is new to netball or our club, you should choose the option “Don’t have a login ID”. This will allow you to create an account and register.

Years 2, 3, 4 players and Year 5 Players (that haven’t played juniors) can register using the NetSetGo link below:

This year, we are introducing netball uniforms and the price will be finalised once registrations are completed.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION RE PAYMENT: Please ensure you select the OFFLINE payment option as our fees are paid to Infant Jesus Netball Club. An email will be sent to you with payment details once you have registered.  PLEASE NOTE: THE REGISTRATION FEES DO NOT INCLUDE UNIFORM COST.  Please use your child’s name as the reference to enable us to track payments.

Training is expected to start in Week 8 of Term 1 (Week beginning Monday 19th March). Training is from 3.15 to 4.15pm and will be held at the school netball courts. Training days confirmed so far are:

Year 2 – Wednesday

Year 3 – Friday

Year 4 and 5 – will either be Monday or Tuesday – depending on the availability of the coaches.

Year 6 – Thursday
