Supporting this work is our dedicated team of Apple Coaches, who play a key role in leading innovation and building staff capacity across the school. Working alongside teachers, Apple Coaches provide mentoring, professional learning opportunities, classroom support and practical guidance to help staff integrate technology in purposeful and impactful ways. They encourage experimentation, share successful practices and help teachers leverage Apple technologies to enhance student engagement, creativity and achievement. Technology is seamlessly integrated into learning at Infant Jesus School, empowering students to create, collaborate, communicate and think critically. Through the use of iPads, students engage in authentic learning experiences across all curriculum areas. They create multimedia presentations in Keynote, publish written work in Pages, analyse and represent data in Numbers, and document their learning through photos, videos and digital portfolios. Students also develop creativity through GarageBand, problem-solving skills through coding and robotics, and collaboration through a range of digital tools. Sharing our Success and Story
As an Apple Distinguished School, we are committed to sharing innovative teaching and learning practices beyond our own community. Our staff have actively contributed to educational outreach by presenting during CEWA Webinar Week, delivering professional learning sessions at other schools, and hosting technology sharing days to showcase effective uses of digital technologies in the classroom. We have also represented our school at Apple Leadership Summits in Singapore and Sydney, where we shared our journey, successes, and lessons learned with educators from across the region. In addition, our students and staff have demonstrated authentic creation and publishing by developing and publishing books through the Apple Books Store, providing real-world opportunities for creativity, communication, and global audience engagement. Through these initiatives, we continue to foster collaboration, inspire innovation, and contribute to the wider educational community.
