Communicable Diseases
Parents are requested to inform the school if a child has had a communicable or infectious disease and is required to observe the exclusion from school period. Public Health Department recommendations for the most common school-aged infectious diseases are listed below.

Whooping Cough |
For 2 weeks from onsets of illness or for 5 days after starting antibiotic treatment |
COVID-19 |
One week after diagnosis and until no symptoms persist |
